Rogers Heritage High School
Opened: August 2008
Name: Named Rogers Heritage High School to honor all ofthe thousands of Rogers graduates who have attended high school on that same campus for nearly 40 years. Heritage honors their legacy as well as the new traditions that will be established by generations of students to come.
Colors/Mascot: Based on the recommendations of community and staff on the Student Activities Committee, the Rogers School Board selected navy blue and orange for the school colors and chose the War Eagle for the mascot.
Student Attendance: Students who live in the boundary for Garfield, Northside, Tillery, and Eastside go to Lingle Middle School and then on to Rogers Heritage High School. Students who live in the boundary for Grace Hill, Mathias and Reagan go to Oakdale Middle School and then on to Heritage High School. The school serves grades 9-12.
Leadership: Karen Steen is the principal of the high school. Mrs. Steen has worked in the Bentonville School District previously as the assistant principal at Bentonville High School. Before moving to Arkansas, Mrs. Steen worked as a school administrator in the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada. During her 30 years in education, Mrs. Steen has been involved in the opening of two new schools both as a teacher and as an administrator. Her education experience also includes teaching psychology and gifted and talented students.
